Irish Donkey Creel Log Basket

MARCH - Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th (19th Reserve Day) - 10am to 4pm
Cost - £130
Make a beautiful, strong Log Basket based on the traditional Irish Donkey Creel, using authentic techniques with locally grown willow.

Frame Basket

April - Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th - 10am to 4:00pm
Cost - £130
plus materials payable on the day, the cost depending on the size of the individual persons project
Beginners & experienced, using a range of beautifully coloured semi-green willow, dogwood, & hazel. Construct a ribbed basket, with or without a handle, using Irish & Polish frame basketry techniques
Please wear warm work clothes & shoes

Rush Chair Seating & Rush Basketry

November - Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd - 10am to 4:00pm
Course tuition cost per person - £130 for 2 days
plus materials payable on the day, the cost depending on the size of the individual persons project
Please bring your own chair or stool with woodwork repaired, reglued if necessary (is it wobbly?), cleaned & ready for re-seating with soft, river rush, harvested, sorted & dried by me.
Rush baskets & hats are made on a mould, various options are available.

If you cancel, a full refund, less the deposit, will be paid to you up to 3 weeks before the course start, thereafter no refund.
